What a weekend!!!

Busy, yet fun.  Yesterday I came home from shooting at the Nuctracker tea and Avery was there unraveling a strand of Christmas lights.  The Tree was in its spot and she was ready and rarin’ to go!    She is nothing, if not determined!!!

First thing she asked is if I can help!

Doesn’t sound like a huge task; but when you have been shooting all day, what comes next is download and editing.

I feel bad sometime,  because my family is waiting for me and they all seem to have ‘to do’ lists for me, but don’t always consider my time.  And around this time of year it gets tense, because their wish lists come up empty sometimes when it has to involve me.

Nothing says Mother of the Year like a ‘No Show’ Mom.

June and December are terrible months for me.  Hardly seen unless it’s at my desk.

This year is no different.

My patience gets stretched thin too.

I’m working more towards spending time with them and balancing things, but it isn’t always easy.

As this month progresses there will be down time and then we will rev back up.  But the holidays aren’t exactly relaxing.

I guess we all have our cross to bear this season.  I will my best to keep it all in check.

But as of now, I gotta go. I gotta do carpool and then I’m off until about 1 or 2, after which I have to come home and catch up on work.
