Today we started Hip Hop for Mom’s crew. What a day!!! As we walked in it was a lot of new faces. You could tell the new from the old. And when I say ‘old’ I mean seasoned. Last years model…..
It was a whole different vibe from last year. Last year was a room full of insecurities. This year was an air of “Let’s bring it!”
To have the experience of the last year to grow on is a great feeling. I have a lot to look back on and a lot to look forward to.
I’m encouraged with the new choreography, because it feels more aggressive than what we were given in the past; as if to say, “Okay team, let’s build from here!”
I can’t wait to see what this new year holds. It is going to be a new mix of personalities an a new bunch of trials and tribulations.
I can tell after the first practice that we aren’t messing around. We got to full tempo in the first hour of class which would have be unheard of last year this time!!
Experience is a wonderful thing. It diminishes fears and fills you with a sense of accomplishment. And the more accomplishment you have the less water ‘excuses’ hold!
It’s going to be a good year. We left class drenched in sweat and full of possibility!
