So competition is this weekend and I’m in full swing getting ready. Bacon is cooking for bacon egg and cheese burritos. Later I will do banana bread, cookies and pack my coffee machine. This drives my husband crazy! But I like my creature comforts. I hate foraging for food and I don’t want to pay $20 for a hot dog. I’m having another kid in my room and believe it or not these kids can eat. I will anticipate friends so of course I will make extras.
Did I mention this drives my husband nuts?
Glad he’s not travling with me because his headshaking in my peripheral doesn’t make for a good weekend. He travels his way, I travel mine. And I attract more friends in the process!! What kid doesn’t love cookies, right???
My girlfriend and I have a system. We usually room next to each other and share what we have. She travels like me!
It’s a lot of effort; and the girls get embarrassed as we ‘move in’ to our room. But after we are settled, they are cool with it!
