Well, yesterday was fun running around from family to family.  We had a nice time visiting with all and in the end I felt shamelessly spoiled with the gifts I got. But as I’m wearing much of them today, I’m not that shameless!!!  😀

This morning, I had to take Aspen to get a shirt she has been dying for. I told her she would have to buy it with her own money as she got plenty of clothes for Christmas.  She did so happily, which tells me this shirt meant a lot to her.

I figured the mall would be crazy, but we got there pretty early.  Not too bad at all.  As a matter of fact, we wandered around and then headed over to Crystal Court, which  haven’t been to in over a decade!!!  What a treat!!  The place wasn’t busy and we lazily strolled about the place looking at stores that I haven’t seen before.  We even walked into a gallery and one of the guys literally told us about all the artists and much about the artwork on the walls.  This place really takes pride in their work and as I clearly wasn’t their target market, I didn’t expect a personal tour, but boy, I got one!!  If I ever have a fancy house that needs expensive artwork, I’ll be all over that place!!!

It was so nice to be somewhere without a schedule.  We weren’t in a hurry and we really enjoyed our time there!!  We went to all three levels of the place.  Third level was the most ‘boring’ as it had chain stores we have in our own malls.

I’m not a huge shopper, but I love looking around and I love people watching.  Everyone seemed to be in a nice mood today.  I think the stress of the season is all gone!!

Both girls got what they wanted and in the end, I personally, didn’t spend a DIME!!!!  My kind of day!!

I’m back to work right now.  I still have lingering stuff that I need to get done.  But one thing I realized today is that I have a few tools in my arsenal that I can use for business and I dare say, I’m excited to learn more and put them to good use.

I’ve decided to upgrade to the Iphone 5.  I know it’s not a popular decision, but the truth is, if I am going forward and so is technology; if I’m stuck with a 2 year contract somewhere, it might as well be with the ‘current’ latest model.  I personally don’t like that it’s thinner and lighter.  That really bugs me.  My hands need something to hold on to.  So this will be an adjustment.

I just want a phone that doesn’t drop calls and actually works!  This Iphone 4 (white) has been a real issue for me and I will be glad to be rid of it.

I’m moving forward this year.  I have some big plans.  I need to see how I can make them happen!!

I’m glad the mall wasn’t too busy;  The Apple store freaks me out; but the fact that there was someone handy to answer my questions really helped build my confidence in my decisions.
