I decided to try something ‘new’. It’s not totally new, but I haven’t done it in a while and decided to give it another whirl…. I slept with the curtains and windows open. Normally, I close everything in so the morning sun doesn’t wake me up too early. But I have been having a hard time getting out of bed, so I decided to mix it up.
Not surprisingly, I woke up just before 7am. I heard the birds and I saw the sun and I dare say; though I wasn’t ready to ‘jump’ out of bed, I was pleasingly alert.
It helps that it isn’t freezing outside and that I have MULTIPLE blankets to keep me warm. But I do believe that how you wake up can create your day.
I found myself making plans. I realized I need to revamp my work a bit and so I started thinking about what needs to be done. I am thrilled that the sun is shining, because it energizes me. The birds are singing extra loud, or at the very least, I am listening to them.
Aspen is off to dance and I have a big week ahead of me and that means that I will need to have everything in its place. Today that is my goal. To work on that and get things ready for an easy weekend.
I really need to get an actual work schedule going. Being self-employed and home all day makes it hard to separate sometimes. But I thought of something that should work towards the visual brain I have and hopefully, I’ll see success. But first, I’m going to head up and get in some good exercise clothes with my tennis shoes so I can really move around fast.
So far; the open window theory is working for me!
That’s all I got.
Happy Saturday.
