I woke up at 5:30 again, but refused to get up.  Didn’t fall back until after 6am.  Then saw the clock again at 7:30.  MUCH to do and very little time.  Half the presents are wrapped and the house is a mess.  A COLOSSAL mess.  I passed the kids room, threatened their lives if they don’t get up and start cleaning; and here I blog.

The rain isn’t helping, but it won’t stop me.  I have lots to put in the garage to get it out of our way.

The dogs are outside and I’m ready to go.

Half the presents got wrapped last night.  The kids abided by their banishment for exactly one or two hours and started coming out of their room.  Avery first, so I put her to work on Aspen’s presents.

Aspen came out later and as she had already wrapped Avery’s stuff, we sat and watched “While you were sleeping”.  It’s almost an annual tradition now.  I just love that movie.  It’s simple, easy to watch and sweet.

The rest of the presents will hopefully come off Santa’s sleigh.  They weren’t wrapped when the kids went to bed, and the won’t even be looked at until tonite after they go to bed.
