What a weird day!  I was supposed to have a very productive day.   But waking up at 10am changed all that!  As it is our first ‘day off’ in a very long time, I was thankful there was nothing pressing.  However, there is still MUCH to be done!!!

But something just pulled me into lazy mode, so I haven’t stressed too much!  Chances are, tomorrow when we are supposed to be hosting, we will have a mad dash and lots of yelling and screaming to catch up!!!

Now would be a great time to have a little elf-helper!!

Unfortunately, the two that I have are somewhat ‘broken’ and hoping it all gets done by magic!!!

Knowing all this, I still can’t seem to pull myself out!  I went ‘final’ shopping today and I have what I have and it is what it is.  Everything else will have to wait!

Tonite we are going to pick up as much as we can and wrap and tomorrow will be mad-dash cleaning.  And that’s all there is to it!  It’s not like the family doesn’t know how our house normally looks.  As a matter of fact, when they come over and it’s clean…..they take note and commend us.  (well…ME!)

So, we’ll see how it goes!

In between it all, I will be editing Nutcracker photos so I can get them up as soon as possible!!!  In the end all will get done.  Just not as well as I had maybe once hoped.
Now…is the time to start lowering my expectations for the sake of sanity!
