It is Monday. I am sitting in a camera store waiting to have my camera
Lens issue addressed. For the last two weeks I have had to rent a lens to get my job done. What a pain. All it has made me do is made me want the lens I have been renting. No big deal you say….. But the lens is $2,200.
All my equipment is expensive so it is a real hit when something isn’t working.

The cost for the repair is a cool $269. The cost of running a business is not cheap. I have some serious decisions to make.

Having my equipment malfunction is a real bummer. It takes away half my ability during shoots. I have had to seriously rethink how I shoot some of my sessions. The up side is I have been forced to get creative.

I try to explain to my daughter that she shouldn’t scrap something that isn’t working out. Sometimes my best work has come from digging something out of the scrap heap.

Sometimes it is good to be forced to make decisions you weren’t ready to make and to switch things up.

So on this Monday, you will find me scrambling and making decisions. Or sitting in front of my desk working. It’s really a crap shoot at this point.
